Meet the US Team
Joe Gardner
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Joe was hired by Michael Twinn in 1989 as a General Assistant, taking care of the fledgling Child's Play USA business. He took charge of Child's Play USA's Party Plan business, as well as helping to produce all music and video products. Alas, the party plan business has gone, but in 1995, Joe was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing and continues to help Child's Play USA expand and grow.
Laurie Reynolds-Bosquet
General Manager
Laurie was hired in 1994 by Mary Hutchinson as Child's Play USA's Customer Service Manager. In 2005, Laurie took over the General Manager position from Mary, and has been "running the show" ever since, doing everything from order entry, invoicing and customer service to managerial tasks and inventory control. Laurie is also known in certain circles as the other half of Joe's brain!
Steve Nadeau
Warehouse / Logistics Manager
Steve is another "original" Child's Play USA member, having been hired in the summer of 1993. Steve was hired as a puller/packer in the warehouse, and in 1998 was promoted to Warehouse Manager. Steve supervises warehouse employees, takes care of incoming and outgoing trucks, handles all aspects of logistics and relationships with our freight carriers, and monitors inventory.
Tracy Grondin
Controller / Marketing / IT Support
Tracy was hired by Mary in 1997 to be an all-around assistant. She helped with everything from filing, returns and assembly to order entry. Tracy is now our Controller, dealing with day-to-day accounting collections. She is also part of the customer service team and handles anything else we can throw her way. Tracy is also our go-to computer person and photo taker/sender (as well as being the other half of Laurie's brain!).
Julie Gaudette
Educational / Special Sales Manager
Another “original” member of the Child’s Play team, Julie started back in the early 90’s as a Party Plan representative. Julie’s talent for sales did not go unnoticed, and as the party plan business was phased out, she transitioned to a full-fledged sales rep. She is our go-to trade show person, attending conferences all over the US with a concentration in her home state of Texas. She handles various accounts, specializing in the educational market. The inside joke is that she’s such an amazing salesperson, she could sell ice cubes to penguins!
Kim Jalbert
Accounts Receivable / Invoicing / General Office
Kim was hired by Laurie in 2021 as an all-around office assistant. She is an organizational wizard and handles everything from filing and order entry to processing returns. She is also part of the customer service team.
Pat Merritt
Warehouse Operative
Pat was hired by Laurie and Steve in 2023 to help in the warehouse. Pat assists with pulling orders, handles all of our special assembly projects, and has since become the master shrink-wrap machine operator/mechanic.
Theresa Mills
Warehouse Operative / Packer
Theresa is our most recent team member, hired by Laurie and Steve in 2024 to help in the warehouse and be our main order packer.
In Memoriam
Donna Gagnon
Warehouse Operative
Donna was hired by Mary in 1997 to help in the warehouse with special assembly projects. Donna then became a full-time warehouse operative and handled the day-to-day pulling and packing of orders. She retired in July of 2016 but continued to work with us part-time on an as-needed basis, serving as our go-to person for rush orders and emergencies. Sadly, we lost Donna in January of 2024, and she is missed by everyone here at Child's Play every single day.
